It's amazing how little things teach u about the irony of life
I got dragged by my mom to go shopping in the middle of the afternoon, u know the time when the sun is at its very best, and ur body is crying out for ur nice soft bed with the ac's temp just right. Any guesses on my sentiments for shopping then? So having suffered enough my eyes caught the most gorgeous deep emerald colour sticking out from a rack. Suddenly the blood started rushing and eyes grew wide! It was soooo beautiful n even my mom agreed to buy it ASAP. This was 8 months back. I kept holding on to the material not wanting to give it any ol darzi for I obviously wanted it "just right". Come Eid n me refusing to go shopping or making anything for Eid, my mom won the argument by showing me my entire wardrobe, which even by my standards was a sorry state. So she said how bout that green one, its not at all bharee, n plus u wont have to come shopping. I agreed. After all it had been 8 months! Hello Mr. Tailor Sahab, i want it this way, n the neck to be specifically that way, etc. Got busy with exams n all and finally went to pay him a visit. Smiling he said "Baji mein ney bilkul tayar kardiya hai, app ki pasand ka", hopes went up! *crash!**tssshhhh psssssttthhhh* what i held before me was a complete masterpiece of everything i had told him NOT to do! My fav material, the one i had safely locked away for 8 looooong months, and all it remained to be was a disaster!
So the moral of this long winded story is that no matter how hard we decide to take every decision seriously, hang on to them, weighing their pros n cons till the balance literally screams out, just to make that perfect choice and not to have any regrets later on, unfortunately the Murphy's Law is above us all, and what will go bad will go bad. So rather than hanging on and being scared lets take the plunge!
It's amazing how completely unrelated incidents help you take decisions for other more important issues....
